Michele Pornaro Borer

born in 10/06/1978 in Schio near Vicenza, Italy, is a good painter, who approaches the execution of his painting without calculation, giving himself fully to the method once chosen. What attracts in his works is certainly colour, especially in the earlier ones, and in the more recent ones, of which three were shown at this exhibition, also rhythm. Michele's painting Untitled (oil on canvas, 195×185 cm), which stands out for its purity and maturity of execution, echoed in me with its rhythm and colouring Boccioni's work The Development of a Bottle in Space. This, of course, is my own, private association, since Michele's works are far from the futurists' programmatic rigidity. They are primarily beautiful, but this one is charged with an unrestrained energy, which, in an extraordinary way, brings Michele close to his famous fellow countryman from the beginning of the last century.
